Photography and African Safaris have been my twin passions ever since I made my first return visit to Kenya, land of my birth, in 1983. That first safari ignited my passion for photography and has added an exotic, exhilarating and unique dimension to my life. I have photographed a wide range of subjects - from the natural to the urban landscape, from outdoors in the four seasons to indoor black light set-ups, from trains to hot air balloons, from the Concorde to the SS Reagan aircraft carrier, from elephants to ducks, from portraits to macros of flowers.

I also love creating abstract and impressionistic images from my photographs. My travels have had me globe-trotting far and wide. The extensive collection of images of sub-Saharan Africa were created over several safaris. The renowned animal migration, a birth in the wild, a preening Lilac Breasted Roller, month-old lions cubs, mating lions, a rare sight of the klipspringer, a cheetah chase are some memorable photographic moments. The Gallery section of this website captures but a small selection of images which are available as archival prints, fine art wall hangings, greeting cards, calendars and for stock use.

As a skilled user of Photo Shop and the film scanner, I can help preserve your precious memories by retouching/restoring old and damaged photographs or scanning your 35 mm film transparencies. Give me your forgotten and unsorted digital and non-digital images and I will use my organizational, photographic, artistic and book-making expertise to create beautiful and professionally printed photo books . I can also transform a treasured photograph of your family, pet, property or of a trip into a one-of-kind painterly wall hanging. I can also do this with your selection from my portfolio.
